So I'm back from LugRadio Live and it was a blast. There were some really great moments and the event turned out to be very professional.

A few random afterthoughts include:

  • The 'Gong-a-Thong' was pure comedy.
  • Jeremy Allison's take on the history of samba was interesting.
  • John Carr's conduit presentation went spectacularly wrong but ended up worthwhile in the end.
  • Free t-shirts are always welcome.

    and of course the last ever (but not really) episode of LugRadio was immensely entertaining. It will be interesting to see if next years live event is as good without the regular recordings.

    Yes, there is. The gents performed a bit of a U-Turn and decided that, while the podcast will finish, they will do another LRL next year.

    Glad you enjoyed the event - I'm the guy who asked if you were going on the roll-up keyboard post. I'm also the "presenter" of the gong-a-thong - glad you enjoyed it.......

    Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet up and see your keyboard :( I probably met you at some point during the weekend, I guess. Might just have to buy one myself to try out.

    Probably met up at some point but its so hard to remember everyone from snatched conversations and drunken rambling, you though were unforgettable ;)
